Sitting On My Butt All Day

This is a post that is meant to remind people that the work women (almost entirely) do at home is actually WORK. I’m not going to pretend that stay-at-home moms do MORE work than single moms. But it is still work and it is frustrating when society as a whole sees home work as trivial, as if women who stay home with children all day are watching soap operas and eating bonbons instead of managing a household of difficult people, budgeting on an extreme level, doing a variety of tasks to help others have easier lives and better careers. We are working! And I household labor counted for something in a world where everything is seen in dollars and cents.
